Friendship Worth It

Friendship Worth ItIn this dark and cloudy night.
where the moon shines, but unable to bear its light.
Seeing you made me bear a smile.
And my heart felt excited just like a child.

I waited just to greet you,
but you were a bit busy so I waited a little more.
Gladly, somebody was there.
To accompany me while you were else were.

Now I sit here in this room,
Feeling a bit sad, filled with a lot of gloom.
Looking at the moon and gazing at it so dearly.
Like if it was you, looking back at me so kindly.

I wished we had a talk,
Even non sense would have sufficed.
Exchanging laughs and smiles,
Starting the day off, filled with cherished hearts.

But, it is not the way it used to be.
We simply exchanged greetings.
Like a simple cycle with no complexity,
Part of life that was made empty.

You may call me like an intimate friend,
but that's just sweet words.
A hollowed up rock,
Doubtful and untrue.

Still, I can never judge you,
Knowing how it may end if I do.
But I know whatever happens it's for the best,
I can surely count on Him to do the rest.

Our friendship maybe a lie or a truth,
But I am happy it did exists.
Knowing you and even sharing secrets,
Times that are lost but I'll forever cherish.
